Clair’s story started 17 years ago when I bought an oocyte from a top Alme mare to do embryo transfer with, and the rest is history! As a 5 yr old he won the coveted West Coast Young Event Horse finals with a 87.78% score and then continued on to win almost every event he competed in to FEI levels. I was blessed to have had him campaigned by international showjumper and eventer Marilyn Little, and Olympian Rich Fellers in showjumping.

Clair is now retired to meet the increasing demand for his fresh cooled semen which wasn’t available when he was competing.

Clair has produced numerous 2**L and 3***L offspring, including Mi Campeon SE with Taryn Nolte (3***L), M-Creme de la Creme SE with Alexis Helffrich (3***L), and Morning Glory SE, with Erin Sylvester-Kanara (3***L). A Clair de Lune SE colt has sold to California!! Congratulations to Claire Crouse on the purchase of Sir Cristiano SE aka Teddy. Teddy is the last colt born out of deceased elite BWP mare, Piktorial and to the 2020 USEF leading sire for eventing Clair de Lune SE! Teddy was the BWP high scoring colt at the 2018 keuring. We are continuing to offer a 1/2 price breeding special to Clair de Lune SE for next year if paid in full before Dec 31, 2020!

Clair de Lune SE offspring showed off their talents and had a stellar day at Jersey Horse Park where Erin Sylvester and Morning Glory SE, 8, finished 2nd in a very large and competitve Intermediate division! Joa Sigsbee and Cosimo SE, 10, finished their first Intermediate division successfully and we couldn’t be more proud!! In Montana, Taryn Nolte and Promised SE finished first in their first YEH with a 27 dressage score!
